November 1994

Summer's evening is rolling down the hills again-
As shadows run through my days-
With sounds of distant bells waking silver memories-
...Got to get to the shore on time-

Though these changes have come, I often wonder if I'm too late-
Maybe if I were asleep I could dream-
Of somewhere in time I no longer remember-
As I still cannot recall how I lost my way-

Not a word is spoken now-
While it's getting harder to wake-
...Occasionally I wish you were still here-
Though so many changes have come-

We said 'goodbye' before hello-
For it was back in November, 1994 I last saw your face-
The trinity has got you now, caressed by the frost too soon-
I know the boy has grown with the time thats passed away but I still carry yesterday-

I hear your voice in my soul, showing me a smile and something to believe in is all one needs in this life-
...In any change that may come-
